Birth Photography, Southern Indiana, Martinsville, Bloomington, Newborn, About Face Pictures Birth Photography

Something that I have been interested in for quite some time was birth photography. Birth Photography is a relatively new idea and many photographers have not branched into this area yet. It was something I wasn't even sure that I wanted to do yet. With optimism I contacted Ashley and asked if she and her husband, Kevin, would mind if I photographed the birth of their daughter. I told them to take their time, think it through and I would 100% understand if the answer was no. Ashley and Kevin talked it over and decided yes! I was super excited and anxious as I'm still working a full-time job and really wanted to be there for this amazing experience. Ashley and I remained in contact pretty regularly and thankfully I was able to be there. Although Addison was delivered via c-section I was able to photograph some of Ashley's labor. I knew then that I wanted to try again and to document such an beautiful occasion. Pictured above is Ashley kissing her 2 year-old son, Josiah, goodbye as she prepared to deliver Addison. For now, it's the only picture that I will share as I want to go through the rest of the gallery with Ashley and Kevin to be sure that they both approve of the images. There are so many amazing images that I cannot wait to share more! Once the gallery has been gone through and they have given permission, I will share it in full.

For now, I'm looking for another couple to share this experience with. If you, or someone you know, is pregnant and due within the next few months, please feel free to contact me to discuss the experience. For the limited time, I am offering this session (experience) to 2 couples. There will be no cost incurred as I'm working to build my portfolio and you will receive all of your images via an online gallery with a print release. Please share this post and help me to find those lucky two couples. Delivery needs to be in either Monroe or Morgan Counties.
